I had what felt like a strong business phone screening.

The conversation went smoothly and I didn’t run into any awkward moments or technical stumbling—overall, the screen felt positive and professional.

But the outcome still wasn’t what I hoped for. I didn’t receive any offer, and the part that really bothered me was the lack of feedback. There wasn’t anything I could use to understand what didn’t land or how my performance was being evaluated, so I was left guessing rather than learning.

Even though the call itself felt good, the process ended quickly and silently. I left with more uncertainty than clarity about where I fell short.
