San Francisco, CAPosted Sep 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I received an HR call and then scheduled the first tech interview.

In that first technical round, I was asked three SQL questions plus a case question. The first two SQL problems were simpler, involving WHERE filtering and aggregation, and then the case question centered on A/B testing.

The overall feeling was average difficulty and fairly SQL-forward, with the A/B testing piece used as the bridge to experimentation thinking. I didn’t move forward to an offer decision after this stage.

Looking back, it was a clean early screen that made it easy to understand what they were evaluating, but it still ended without an offer.
