My journey started with a recruiter call just to confirm my experience fit the role.

After that, I did a behavioral interview with fairly straightforward prompts aimed at how I worked in messy, unclear situations and how I’d operate as part of a team.

Next came an online assessment that ran 2 hours and 30 minutes and was broken into five parts: MCQs covering SQL, stats, and some simple math; then an exercise where I had to write a simple SQL query; and a final segment where I built a classification model from a CSV file with no internet access. The set felt comprehensive in a way that made it clear they wanted both fundamentals and the ability to apply them under time
