Two Sigma Software Engineer interview experience

Posted Mar 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My experience included a virtual onsite that started with the first part and then required preparation for the next segment, but it didn’t end up going further for me.

The process overall felt like it hinged on performing under a structured day schedule.

Separately, the other time I went through a full-day onsite setup, it got disrupted last-minute: the interviews were originally scheduled, but the night before an automated update changed it to a single remaining round. The recruiter communication didn’t help, and I ended up feeling like the whole effort was mismanaged and not truly sincere about assessing me fairly. When the interview did happen, it shifted away from the technical direction I expected and turned into a prolonged focus on work experience
