I went through a two-step in-person process that felt pretty store-manager centered.

I first interviewed with an assistant manager, answered a fairly standard set of questions, and then a few days later I got called back for a second interview.

That follow-up was with the store manager. It was again a standard list of questions, and the interaction felt pretty straightforward and friendly overall. I ended the process after the second interview, and I didn’t end up getting the job. Looking back, it didn’t feel like a tough interview so much as a quick fit check—polite, minimal pressure, and heavily dependent on the day-to-day impression they wanted to make.
