I started with a recruiter-style conversation where we walked through my resume and past experience.

Most of what I was asked landed in the behavioral space, and the interviewer kept nudging me to answer in a STAR-style structure. The questions felt straightforward and targeted—enough follow-ups to make it clear they wanted clarity, but not so many that it dragged.

What stood out was how light the process felt overall. I had expected to get the usual “why Toyota” type of prompt, but I didn’t end up being asked that specifically. Instead, we stayed focused on my background and what I was looking for in the role, and I could tell they were trying to map my experience to the day-to-day
