Cincinnati, OHPosted Feb 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed with two Toyota employees during my college’s career interview day for co-ops—one worked as a process engineer and the other worked with their plastics division.

The interview followed a STAR-style approach, and it was clear they expected thorough answers.

Most of it involved going through my resume and having them ask about my previous experience, but they still asked a few deeper questions meant to confirm whether I actually had the experience and ability they were looking for. It felt less like a casual chat and more like a structured test of how well my examples matched what the roles required.

I left feeling like my stories needed to be specific and backed up with real detail, because the interviewers were actively probing for alignment.
