Starkville, MSPosted Sep 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview got set up after I spoke with a representative at a career fair, and it happened a couple of days later.

The format was very structured around STAR, with the interview flowing through the sequence of Situation/Task, Approach, and Results.

The whole experience felt methodical rather than casual. I had to keep my answers organized into that framework, and the timing felt deliberate. It wasn’t presented as a technical test, and the STAR structure made it clear that they wanted examples that mapped cleanly from context to what I actually did.
