Atlanta, GAPosted Sep 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

Toyota set up a booth at my school’s career fair, and I chatted with a representative for about 15 minutes.

He then arranged an interview slot for the next day. The interview itself revolved around STAR-formatted questions and started with them going through my resume, then asking about my experiences in more detail.

What stood out to me was how resume-led it felt—the conversation kept circling back to prior work I had done, and I had to translate that into STAR stories. The process felt more like verifying fit through concrete examples than trying to test deep technical knowledge.
