Toyota North America Software Engineer interview experience

They called me for an interview the next day, and the conversation used the STAR interview format.

The difficulty felt average, and the focus stayed on my experience stories—how I handled situations, what I was responsible for, and the results I delivered. I remember treating it like a structured set of examples rather than a free-form discussion.

I didn’t receive an offer. My reflection was that the process was efficient and aligned with common behavioral interviewing, but it ultimately came down to how my specific co-op experiences matched what they were hiring for.
