Toyota North America Software Engineer interview experience

That video chat led to an on-site interview where I had to present a project I’d worked on to a few people on the team I’d be joining. The whole loop moved at a steady pace, roughly a month from the first touch to the end of my interviews.

The process felt pretty average overall—nothing felt chaotic or random, but it wasn’t lightweight either. The presentation was the most “real work” part of it, and I remember focusing on explaining my role and the reasoning behind what I built, since that’s the kind of thing that would show up in how I’d contribute day to day.

I didn’t receive an offer.
