I started with an HR phone screen that was mostly behavioral, aimed at understanding my background.

That call set the tone—it was fairly general, and it didn’t feel like they were trying to trick me.

After I cleared that, the next stage was a technical interview with a software engineer from the company. The whole thing felt like a more direct evaluation of how I think about software, since it was clearly split from the earlier HR conversation. I walked away feeling the process was reasonably standard for a software role, but I didn’t get an offer.
