Los Angeles, CAPosted Oct 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My journey began with a technical phone screen, and then I moved on to an onsite.

At the onsite, I met a large group of engineers—over ten people—spread across multiple conversations, and the process was clearly designed to evaluate more than just whether I could churn out a solution. The interviews still included coding, but it wasn’t presented as wildly complex; there were algorithm and data-structure questions, plus at least one language-specific prompt.

What stood out most was the tone. Several interviewers were very personable and tried to connect with me as a human, not just a candidate grinding through answers. That said, the experience wasn’t perfect end-to-end.
