Los Angeles, CAPosted Jul 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I ended up hearing about the role through a friend and reached out to the recruiter by email.

Pretty quickly, they set me up with a phone screening with a software engineering lead, and the questions felt extremely straightforward. It was mostly behavioral, with just a hint of technical material mixed in.

I walked away feeling like I’d done well, especially since I had Android experience, but I still got a rejection letter the very next day. Honestly, I couldn’t figure out what they were looking for from interns if my background and performance on the basics didn’t seem to matter.
