I went through a long, very detailed interview ladder that started with HR and then kept expanding outward.

My sequence began with an HR phone screen, then a peer interview, then a hiring manager conversation.

After that, I had a skip-level manager round and moved into an interview with an XFN team leader, followed by another HR BQ interview focused on behavioral questions. I didn’t make it to the hiring manager stage in the way I had expected—I only got through the earlier parts of the loop and the process ended before the round with the hiring manager.

Even within the steps I completed, the tone felt like they were looking for depth: a lot of follow-up questions and a very thorough evaluation
