San Jose, CAPosted Jun 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied online for a Product Manager role and the recruiter reached out first.

That conversation focused on walking through my resume and then aligning my past work with what the role would actually require.

After that, I moved straight into a round with the hiring manager. I felt it went well enough to pass that stage, and I left the discussion feeling like they understood my experience. But before I could progress further, I received an offer from another company, so I withdrew my application to TikTok. My experience overall was smooth and structured, even though the timing ended up working against me.
