My first round was a code review.

They gave me a code snippet in a document and asked me to review it by adding comments.

The code itself was Java-based, and it felt relatively manageable compared with what I’ve seen elsewhere—especially since the comment-based format matched work I’d done on real development teams. The rest of the loop I experienced didn’t lead to an offer.

In the end, it was an average-difficulty experience that felt clear and focused, but it still didn’t work out for me beyond the code review stage.
