The Trade Desk Full Stack Engineer interview experience

First was a 15-minute Zoom call with the recruiter, where we covered general questions and I also talked through salary expectations and working arrangements. It felt straightforward and professional, but also clear that there wouldn’t be much time for deep technical context.

After that call, I was told there would be additional rounds, but I wasn’t selected to move forward. It ended quickly and I never made it to any coding or systems interview, so the whole experience felt like it was decided early based on fit.
