The College Board Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

RemoteCandidate report, summarized by Dataford

I did end up getting an offer from College Board, which was a major turning point for me.

At the same time, I was still in the process with Amazon, so it became more of a timing and decision problem than an interview challenge.

The experience left me in that in-between spot where I had good news secured, but I was waiting on another company’s timeline. Ultimately, I accepted the situation as it stood at the moment—still working through competing priorities—though I didn’t have a finalized end-to-end narrative beyond that offer while the Amazon process was still ongoing.
