The interview process itself didn’t feel too intense, but it was slowed down by internal changes that weren’t communicated quickly.

The recruiter only later shared that the job function was shifting location—from the New York City office to the Summit, New Jersey office—which was a major change for the process.

Because of that, the timeline felt out of my control and there wasn’t much momentum from my perspective. I spent that time waiting as the role evolved on the back end.

I didn’t end up with an offer, and my main takeaway was that the uncertainty and delays mattered as much as any interview performance. Even when you’re ready, a moving target can throw off the whole experience.
