Textron Aviation Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

United StatesPosted Jan 2014 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied online and ended up going through a short sequence of interviews—first with HR and then with several engineering managers.

The total time together was about two hours, and the discussions stayed focused on getting a sense of my background.

What was frustrating came after the interview: about two weeks later I still hadn’t heard anything, so I reached out to HR. They told me they had forgotten to extend an offer. It wasn’t a process that felt well-managed from that point onward, and the lack of closure is what I remember most.
