After an online test, the interviewer walked me through my solutions and used that as the basis for the rest of the conversation.

We went over my approach and the reasoning behind the choices I’d made in my answers. Along the way, they asked about my motivations as well as my experience.

The interaction felt very pleasant and clear, and the interviewer communicated what they were actually looking for. Instead of just judging the final result, it turned into a conversation about how I thought.

I liked that format because it made the evaluation feel more transparent. I left feeling like I understood my own gaps and what mattered to them, which is all you can really ask for when the process is still moving to a decision.
