I had a slightly non-traditional route into Tessian, and that shaped the interview process more than I expected.

I ended up going through multiple interviews and screening calls before I reached deeper conversations with leadership. A big theme throughout was fit—making sure I could clearly add value to the company, but also that the culture and the work were really a match for me.

What stood out most was that I had two separate interviews with the CEO. Those conversations felt intentionally focused on the “why you” and “why here” questions, and I remember leaving each session with the sense that they weren’t just ticking boxes—they were actively evaluating whether my motivations and approach lined up
