Tenneco Software Engineer interview experience

If things looked promising, they scheduled an onsite interview.

The onsite was thorough, with three to four people interviewing me, and they met together to decide where I’d fit best. The experience lasted a few hours and felt like an endurance but structured evaluation. I remember being told to take water because the process could run about three hours.

I didn’t receive an offer, but I left feeling that the format was clear: explain experience well and answer technical questions directly. My overall reflection was that being precise mattered more than trying to over-elaborate.
