Tenneco Software Engineer interview experience

ParisPosted May 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The interview I had was disappointing despite my excitement about the job.

The questions were mostly yes-or-no prompts based on the job description, and they didn’t leave much room for follow-up or conversation.

More frustratingly, they never responded to any follow-up emails afterward. Even though I felt qualified and was hoping to move forward, the lack of communication left a bad taste.

I didn’t get an offer, and the entire experience felt unresponsive and overly minimal. What stood out most was the gap between the effort I put in and the lack of engagement afterward.
