I was shortlisted from my resume and then went straight into an interview round.

I felt like I performed well and expected the process to continue, and I actually received a message indicating I had been selected for the next hiring manager round.

But right after that, the communication broke down—HR stopped picking up calls when I tried to coordinate the next step. The difficulty felt more like an outcome/communication issue than a technical challenge.

In the end, I didn’t get an offer, and what stayed with me most was how frustrating it was to have momentum built up from the shortlist and then lose it because the follow-up never really happened.
