My interview felt unusually intrusive for a sales role.

I kept expecting a straightforward conversation about selling food, but it turned into something that felt too personal and overlong. The interviewer asked lots of personal questions and focused heavily on things like how much money I’d made in previous jobs.

It wasn’t the format that bothered me as much as the tone—asking more personal details than I associated with an account executive interview. The time also dragged, which made the whole experience feel mismatched to what the job actually was.
