I walked into what was described as an interview, but it felt more like a stage-managed pitch than a genuine hiring conversation.

Multiple people sat in the same discussion, and instead of exploring my experience or fit, the atmosphere centered on claims about enormous earnings for selling solar. After they delivered their sales pitch, the message was essentially that everyone was hired immediately.

What really threw me off was how little attention was paid to my actual background. The conversation treated hiring as almost guaranteed, even with no meaningful interview depth around my prior sales experience. It left me feeling embarrassed and undervalued—like the process was designed to move bodies through quickly
