Stripe Software Engineer interview experience

The interview itself involved answering technical questions, but communication was poor and the interaction felt unfriendly.

Even though I had prepared a lot, the interviewer didn’t give me much guidance or conversational back-and-forth. I felt like I was being dropped into questions with little context, and the interviewer would do other things during the session, which made it hard to stay engaged.

I didn’t receive an offer, and honestly it left me with the strongest memory being about the lack of basic engagement rather than the technical difficulty.
