Stripe Software Engineer interview experience

I had about an hour to implement everything, and the problem quickly became the kind of challenge with lots of moving pieces rather than a straightforward single task.

I did pass the “early” stage and then discovered I wasn’t moving forward, because the assessment was tough enough that I didn’t finish in a way that would get me through. I never made it to the virtual onsite where I’d expected there to be two or three more interviews. Even though the format sounded structured, the time pressure in the online test was what really got to me, and it ultimately ended the process for me.
