Stripe Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Medium

Negative

Toronto, ONPosted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interviews themselves didn’t feel hostile—the interviewers I spoke to were generally nice.

What dragged the experience down was the operational side. Recruiters kept changing across rounds, and I didn’t get any meaningful feedback after each stage.

The communication was hard to follow, and I experienced the process as people going quiet without explanation. It made it feel like poor management more than a deliberate evaluation plan.

Because of that, even when the technical conversations were relatively pleasant, I ended up with an overall negative feeling about the journey. I didn’t receive an offer, and honestly the lack of clarity and follow-through was what stayed with me most.
