My process started with a technical question that was broken into parts, and each new section only unlocked after I finished the earlier one.

The pacing forced me to stay focused on completing the current step before moving on.

During the round, I had to talk through my thinking the whole time—what I was planning, how I approached the problem, and what I was coding as I went. The interviewer was friendly and would guide me when I got stuck, which made it feel less like a trap and more like a collaboration toward a solution.

I didn’t make it to an offer, but I walked away feeling like the round rewarded clarity of reasoning and the ability to keep momentum as requirements changed part by part.
