StoneX Software Engineer interview experience

Hard

Positive

BengaluruPosted Dec 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My React and Node-related interview experience felt unusually smooth.

Most of the questions revolved around APIs and promises. I remember giving interviews covering React.js and Node.js, and the topics fit together well around how requests are handled and how asynchronous flows work.

There wasn’t much friction described in how the questions landed or how the conversation moved.

Even though it felt easy, I still didn’t get an offer, and the biggest reflection I had was that the friendliness of the technical flow didn’t necessarily translate into them moving forward.
