I was pulled into a two-day program that focused heavily on product knowledge.

It also had a competitive edge: I had to learn the material and then go up against other interviewers as part of the selection for an offer. The structure was intense and clearly designed to see how I performed under pressure with the company’s product matter.

Even though I felt it was a great experience overall, the format wasn’t a fit for me personally. I didn’t end up taking the offer, and looking back the biggest takeaway was how demanding and immersive the process was compared to a typical interview—less like a conversation and more like a short sprint built around performance.
