Palo Alto, CAPosted Apr 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My only formal interview step felt very tech-screen-like.

It started as a phone call where I introduced myself, and then it quickly moved into coding questions. There were two problems back-to-back: the first was a pretty standard coding challenge, and the second was more specific, related to Facebook functionality.

The difficulty wasn’t uniform—one question felt familiar while the other was more oddly targeted, which threw off my rhythm a bit. I had to keep switching gears between a standard approach and a more feature-specific way of thinking.

I didn’t receive an offer after this screen, and the whole thing felt like a fairly binary evaluation
