SSE Software Engineer interview experience

The assessment centre included group work as well as a presentation that I had to prepare in advance, followed by an interview. They told me to expect feedback after the process, but I didn’t get a proper update and later concluded it was simply a rejection.

Even after I followed up by email asking for feedback, I didn’t receive a response. That made the experience feel unorganised and unprofessional in how it ended. I wasn’t offered the role, and what lingered was the mismatch between the time spent preparing for structured stages and the lack of closure or communication afterward.
