I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with a smooth, short technical conversation, but the process stalled after the technical success.

Technical interview (remote video) — The interviewer didn’t turn on video; we covered basic Node.js questions. Near the end, they indicated I was a good fit and said HR would follow up.
HR follow-up — No HR call or communication ever came after the interview, despite me sending a follow-up email. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was that a positive technical call didn’t translate into actual HR scheduling/feedback.
