I had an offer-like onboarding experience after a previous conditional offer, but the hiring process stalled for months with little communication.

(Ongoing/previous stages completed elsewhere) — I had already received a conditional offer letter earlier in the pipeline.
HR follow-ups / onboarding — I kept following up for onboarding updates, and the HR team repeatedly suggested hiring was coming soon. Outcome: I never received onboarding follow-through after the conditional offer, and the takeaway is that communication and transparency are critical when candidates are waiting.
