I got an impromptu call to set up a semi-formal discussion, which then turned into a proper call where they walked me through the training and placement setup.

The conversation was very focused on what the requirements would be for me if I took the job.

Later, there was an activity-style stage where they reviewed my performance from the group exercise and talked through my university experience and how it connected to their expectations. There were also a few questions about my CV.

It was a fairly low-friction process in terms of format and communication, but it still didn’t lead to an offer. The part that stood out was how much of the experience centered on the logistics and fit for the training/placement model, not just technical interviews.
