Snowflake Software Engineer interview experience

I was asked a bunch of technical questions very early on—quick-sort and hash-table style topics came up during the recruiter stage—which immediately felt off to me, like the process was being handled with more authority than respect. The loop felt curt and combative rather than informative.

I ended up getting five questions in that stage and missed two, which was frustrating because it felt like I wasn’t being evaluated on my background so much as on whether I’d recently refreshed specific LeetCode-style material. After that, I felt like I was dismissed rather than given any real clarity.
