After a recruiter screen, I was given an OA that redirected me to a separate website and asked me to answer multiple algorithm questions.

They were pretty time-consuming, and by the time I was in it, I realized I hadn’t prepared enough for the pacing and length.

Because it was so focused on coding challenges and the surrounding setup felt unfamiliar, I spent most of the time working through details instead of testing different approaches. I didn’t receive an offer, and the biggest surprise was how quickly the time pressure piled up compared with the difficulty level I’d expected from the description.
