I had a recruiter conversation that was smooth and then moved into a video interview using a HireVue-style format.

The recruiter was friendly, and the transition to the next step felt straightforward. But I didn’t feel good about the one-sided video recording for a sales role where face-to-face interaction matters a lot. I also never received much in the way of feedback after the recording, even when I asked about it. The lack of response and the format left me feeling like the process wasn’t measuring the right things.
