Smith+Nephew Software Engineer interview experience

I had a presentation that initially threw me off because it was unexpected, but once it started it actually helped me introduce myself in a way that landed better than pure Q&A.

After the interview, the waiting period became the hardest part. It took months to hear back, and when the email finally arrived it was generic rather than personal. I remember feeling like I was left hanging after putting in real effort.

Later, I experienced a similar pattern where the interview seemed to go well, and then I heard nothing for weeks. I reached out for an update, but I didn’t get a response.
