My interview sequence leaned heavily on video.

I first had a Bewerbungsschreiben-style step where I submitted video answers, followed by a second round of video interview conversations that included an “Ausarbeitung” component. Overall the conversation felt pleasant, and the feedback about the materials came quickly. The questions were relatively simple, and the process relied a lot on the impression I made through video. What was missing was that personal, in-the-room presence, which made the experience feel a bit incomplete compared to a fully live interview.
