I had the first interview, and after several follow-up emails, I never heard back—no update, no closure. The whole thing came across as lax, almost like the hiring effort wasn’t being handled with real company structure. Even though the hiring manager had reached out to me initially, the disappearance after that was what made it most disappointing.
