Smartsheet Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Hard

Negative

IndiaPosted Jan 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My experience started with some hope, then turned into a long stretch of frustration.

I was contacted for interviews and completed four rounds, and I was even told an offer would be released.

After that, everything stalled. The process dragged on while they explained they were waiting for other roles to be onboarded together. Eventually they stopped responding altogether—no updates, no feedback, and no replies when I followed up.

By the end, it felt extremely disappointing and unprofessional, especially because there wasn’t any closing loop or honest explanation for why things went silent. I didn’t get an offer, and the whole thing left me with a strong negative impression
