SLB Software Engineer interview experience

During the conversation, when I asked what the role would really look like day to day, the panel told me that the expectations depended on the candidate profile and that details were still being finalized.

That uncertainty made the whole experience feel a bit harder to interpret. Even with that, the structure itself was clear: first online, then a later offsite.

I didn’t end up receiving an offer, and what I found most difficult wasn’t the interview questions themselves—it was trying to gauge what “success” would mean when the scope hadn’t fully solidified yet.
