I went through an advanced, multi-stage technical path for an engineering role, including a panel and presentation-style work.

Engineering director contact (Teams) — I was first contacted by an engineering director and interviewed on Teams.
Panel interview (large group + HR) — I then joined a panel consisting of multiple engineers/managers with HR involved.
Presentation followed by many one-on-ones (other similar pattern) — In a comparable process, I prepared a longer presentation about PhD work with a short QA session, followed by multiple one-on-one interviews. Outcome: No offer in these journeys, and the takeaway was that panel/presentation formats demand clarity under pressure.
