I got pulled into the process after a career fair and ended up with an interview the next day.

An HR manager and an engineering manager interviewed me, and the flow felt pretty easy from start to finish.

The questions were centered on what I was interested in and what I thought about the role, and we also talked through the projects and the locations involved. I didn’t find the interview difficult, but I realized afterward that I wasn’t actually interested in the specific location of the job.

So even though the interview went well and felt straightforward, I didn’t move forward because the location wasn’t a fit for me.
