The interview I went through leaned heavily into personal attributes rather than trying to probe deep into software engineering fundamentals.

The technical portion still showed up, though, and it focused on the operation of gas turbines, specifically with emphasis on the SGT5 4000F and 8000H models.

Overall it felt balanced toward how I presented myself—how I thought about work and how I came across—while the technical questions were narrower and more targeted. I didn’t get an offer, but the experience was clear in what it was evaluating.
